      :snicker:
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

The rejection of monarchy and other unrepresentative forms of government which the American Revolution set into motion and which the United States has greatly supported throughout its 230-year history.
Ah yes, in Bourbon France and Morocco, two of its early allies.

In Shah Reza Pahlavi's Iran, one of its former allies.

And also in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, two of its current allies.

And also of course in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Chile, South Viet Nam, Brazil, apartheid era South Africa, and all those other delightful vacation spots where the United States:

[rejected] monarchy and other unrepresentative forms of government
in favour of democratically elected representative forms of government.

I'll smoke some of what you're on Drake, it must be really strong stuff.

We all know what happened to the Bourbons after the French population caught on to the example the Americans had set...

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I guess we'd better do our thinking and have our discussion today.

Tomorrow there may be a law against it.

Yes, they had the Terror, mass killing, a revolutionary war, were invaded by their European neighbours, beaten at Trafalgar and Waterloo and elsewhere, and saw the creation of the undemocratic military dictatorship of the Napoleonic Empire and a return of the monarchy during Napoleon's absence in Elba.

Oh, and the return of the monarchy again, after his defeat.

And of course the democratically minded U.S.A. weren't so democratically minded that they didn't consider offering M. Napoleon help in getting rid of those troublesome former slaves who had revolted and freed themselves in Saint Domingue and were giving dangerous ideas to American slaves....

Well, they are French. They got the right idea from us, but we can't help it if they ****ed up the execution. Same goes for Latin America and its Bolivarian revolutions.
