Only a very tiny percentage of West Germans were and are capitalists and will ever be capitalists. You have to have capital to be a capitalist, and if that were easy to accomplish, everyone would do it.

You have a very uninformed view of natural selection mixed in with Libertarian/Social Darwinist propaganda. Natural selection is about getting your genes passed on to the next generation. ANYTHING that gives your DNA a better chance fo being passed to the next generation will be selected for. If cooperation increases your reproductive potential it will be selected for. Compitition among genes often leads to cooperation among individuals.
