Go Israel ! Terrorists and terrorist supporters deserve whatever's coming to them . At least one country has the guts do what is necessary to bring terrorism to an end - inflict unacceptable casualties on terrorist supporting nations and nations the terrorists hold dear . maybe. thats if you believe an international airport for the entire country is solely used by hezbollah. it stinks. it affects everyone along with hezbollah and no one in lebanon is going fault hezbollah for controlling the area the airport is in. the ire will fall squarely on israel and they havent gained anything long term from this. they havent lost anything either

afghanistan still has the taliban and al queda, chechnya still has seperatists. the only difference is all the violence is directed into a small geographical region with limited terrorist attacks on respective enemy countries. you cant fight forever.

and the arabs are idiots for taking hostages in the first place. taking hostages is idiotic period. it never gets you what you want, unless the aim is unrest, war, and violence.

no, for several reasons, the taliban materially aided al queda, we knew al queda was there, the taliban was a terrible government, etc etc.

but being apathetic or unnable to contain hezbollah isnt the universal responsibility of lebanon.

if israel wants to end hezbollah go after syria and Iran.
