I also think the Arabs are being retarded for not accepting that Israel is here to stay.

So theres faults on both sides (cause I don't condone the methods that the arabs use either) and as to how to fix it well I just wished they'd do it peacefully.

I dont have a long term solution for israel arab relations, but what they are doing is a waste of resources and manpower to show a bunch of people who want them dead they wont back down. well noooooooo ****! they havent gained anything that they didnt already have.

I support the existance of israel, not the existance of israel fanboys in north america and certainly not a "israel is always right, or always wrong attitude". I disagree with this action.

And, of course, Lebanon wants a guerilla group that it has no control over being the primary governmental authority over a large portion of its land. And seeing how they kicked the Syrian forces out in 2005, they may still be, I dunno, trying to get their feet under them?

All this may have resulted when Isreal had a control over that area for a long period... I'd imagine Lebanese military/police weren't able to assert any authority down there, leading to a Lebanese power vaccuum that Hezbollah filled quite gleefully.

So, when the South Lebanese Hezbollah do something bad, the Northern Lebanese get hit, even though they aren't exactly fans of Hezbollah and if they had the power to, they'd probably get rid of them? That makes... well, no sense at all.

Isreal had control of that land. They left because they were suffering their own Iraq there with guerillas they couldn't totally take out, but who were killing soldiers left and right.

Start making a list of every time a person or agency not related to the country has helped a country gain a foothold on their situation in the world. Sometimes a nation's best interest isn't really realized by the people running the nation.
