Other then one farm/grove of trees which is disputed between Israel and Lebanon there were no Israeli soldiers in Lebanon. This just shows, once again in case people weren't paying attention, that Arabs cannot be trusted and that signing peace treaties doesn't get you security. The Israelis really need to just make the 20 miles beyond their borders a total exclusion zone where anyone in there gets killed on sight.
Fill it with mines and automated machineguns which shoot everything which moves. Next the Israelis need to make it clear that any attack which comes from Lebanon or Syria will be considered an attack by the Syrian government requiring a full scale war.
