  • Is American SouthWest drying up?

Global warming is taking its toll, altering weather patterns. Africa is not the only place drying up, American cities are running out. If the town of Los Vegas, New Mexico doesn't get normal rainfall, it could dry up in 80 days.

Texas just went through one heck of a drought.

    Cali's doing okay, though.

STILL going. Worst since the 50's.

Is there a problem with the water tables?

          Are the reservors OK?

It just doesn't rain, and no, the reservors are drying up. We have water bans in place for outdoor use. Water the yard twice a week. No washing cars in driveway. Things like that. Meanwhile west Texas is burning cactus, again, to feed livestock.

What do we know about the Southwest?

              Texas is a desert.

Death Valley is there - no water.

              It never rains in California.

              So what's new?

It's a ****ing desert. It doesn't need global warming to be dry.

I was about to say... it doesn't get much drier than the Southwest

Though granted, the rivers could completely dry screwing LA and Las Vegas over, but, the landscape as a whole is a desert already

What's the next big piece of news? Siberia threatened by eternal nuclear winter?

This is scary for Oregon. We know that when you guys need a drink it will be Oregon that goes dry next. Cali wanted to pump the Columbia River south some years back.

Global warming isn't the problem, growing big-ass cities in the ****ing desert is the problem.

The American west is in a decade's long drought, so yes, it's drying up.

Well, a state's gotta do what a state's gotta do.

We began sucking Owens Valley dry at the beginning of the 20th Century. A couple of decades ago, we got into a dispute with Arizona and Mexico over our overuse of Colorado Riiver water. We're sucking in water from the Sacramento River Delta. Our population is exploding. So where else we gonna look?

                              Our plan:
                              First, get Oregon electrical power.
                              Second, get Oregon water.
                              Third, get Oregon women.

                              Bwuhahahahahahaha!!
