The strange part is that after 7/7, a group claimed responsibility, but after 7/11 (oh God, someone is going to make a tasteless joke about that...), no one has said a peep. It looks like Al Queda's work in that it is very coordinated, but I wonder why they aren't saying anything.

Reported passenger casualties are much lower than you would think. A few years ago I was at an international railroad safety conference with a speaker from the Indian Railways. Someone from the audience asked how there were so few passenger injuries and fatalities with the Indian trains being so packed. He said:
If we sell someone a ticket, then they are considered a passenger. But if they fall off the train, by the time they hit the ground ..... they're a trespasser.
