  • I want to watch the programs I want when I want.

I work on SciFi Friday so I miss the shows I like. Is there a way to get TV through the internet and order the shows I want when I want?

    Ummm... Tivo.

The DVR is great. I'm getting to watch a bunch of old DS9 episodes I never got to see when I was younger, courtesy of Spike TV. And of course, I have to get my fill of Stargate and Battlestar Galactica.

Spike TV is pretty good anyway. Too bad we don't get it in here.. I'd get that.

Got great reviews from Popular Science.

Although they did indicate highspeed internet and G router minimally are required.

For one of my favorite commericials of all times.

Two bums are sitting in a grimy urban alley.

Bum 1: I had it all. Money...power...women. Ooooh, the women!
                          Bum 2: So what happened??
Bum 1: They wanted me to work Thursday nights.
                          Bum 2: So??
Bum 1: Thursday nights is L.A. Law.
Bum 2: You gave all that up just so you could sit home Thursday nights and watch L.A. Law??
                          Bum 1: Sure. Wouldn't you?
Bum 2: Naw. --I'd have just taped it.
                          Bum 1:
