Funny story he told once...he used to whip us pretty good with a belt or yardstick... until he broke it on me. So when I grew up I asked him if his father beat him, he answered 'he sure as hell did.' So I asked if his father's father beat his father, to which he replied 'god I hope so'.
I just love that story.

While there are many languages that are significantly more complex than English, there are very few that make as little sense.

It's also funny to see Americans coming out against any change in the spelling of English words, given that our dialect has already adopted many spelling changes intended to simplify things. I guess ya'll should go back to spelling "color" with a "u"...KH FOR OWNER!
