Disregarding the question of its effectiveness, it seems as if glucosamine is supposed to treat general back problems, and not specific injuries to the back.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

It works. My right knee was bone on bone, and I thought I'd have to quit my job at the time, working in freight. I couldn't not limp, the pain got so bad and management was noticing. I started taking glucosamine and within a few days my knee felt totally normal.

I prefer to ignore my medical problems until they go away. Being only twenty, this has worked so far. Also, even if I choose to actually act on my ailments, the lack of health insurance limits my options severely.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

If anything really bad happens and you need emergency services you'll be in debt for years. If you have time you can avail yourself of 'medical tourism'. For instance, I had my apendix out (not blown) a couple years back and the bill came to $18,000 of which I had to pay $1800. If I had no insurance I'd have gotten on a plane to the Phils, round trip $1000 and had it out for maybe another $1000, likely less, at a top notch hospital in Cebu. Then, using another $1000 of the money saved I'd go and stay on Bohol where if I didn't already own a place I could rent, on the ocean, for less than $200 a month...and just lay low and heal for a while. Then, do some snorkleing or something. Drink medicinal rum drinks. Find the girl of your dreams. Whatever.
You can have your medical done by a Philippines doc in the Philippines a hell of alot cheaper than having it done by a Philippine or Indian doc in the US.
