Not sure about Bavaria but in the East there are no traffic lights along the Autobahn.

I wasn't aware you plan the Polymeet in one of the Autobahn service stations. I thought it's in Berlin and last time I checked, Berlin still had traffic lights. But, shrug, they likely stole them all by now.

Berlin in itself is not a no go area.

The meeting will be held in a very central place, so plan ahead. Day ticket for public transport 6 euros.
