seems to me recievers do better when the run is respected, especially possession recievers over the middle. As for Holt (and he's in the same category as Boldin), I had him last year in 1 league and Boldin in the other, Boldin did me better. The StL recieving core has more depth than AZ and Martz is gone with the expectation of going more to the run too.

When a new big time RB is expected to easily run for the number of yards the entire team got last year, I think that may cut down into the pass catches of the wide recievers... just a hunchOriginally posted by Berzerker

And this isn't 2001, the Rams recieving core is no where near as deep as it used to be. They don't even have a feared #3 reciever anymore (unless you consider Bruce to be a #2 reciever, which he clearly is not anymore).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. The thing is that Az Hakim wasn't really ever very good. He was just really fast, so when teams rolled coverage too much towards future Hall of Famers Bruce and Holt, he'd get huge yards after catch figures.
If Bruce weren't old, the Rams WRs now would be about as good as they were in 2001. The problem is that Bruce is old, and Faulk is too, and Bulger is good, but not 2001-Warner-good, and Pace isn't as agile as he used to be.

Even if the Rams go for a more balanced approach, Holt is ueber-consistent in his performance and has good rapport with Bulger.
Linehan is an offensive-minded head coach who will utilize the offense well. When he was OC at Minnesota and Miami, Moss and Chambers had monster years as primary receivers (compared to their other years).
