It really hit me last month when my little sister got her Master's degree. She's 2 years younger than me. I felt so proud of her and what she accomplished... before, I would have looked at that and felt awful and beat myself up. I would have thought of myself as a failure that she is graduating and I'm not doing anything with myself. But her accomplishments gave me hope that I can do it too.

Especially when I was helping her with a lot of her thesis papers and such. This stuff is easy! I've forgotten how much I enjoy academics and learning. The bad experience I had at that art school really screwed me up. I just was burnt out and needed to work through my issues before I could continue. It took about 3 years, but I finally did it.

Now, I'm ready to go back to school. Real school.

I'm going to major in Psychology, believe it or not.

Not only do I think I can help people because my experiences, but I possess a natural ability when it comes to observing human behavior. It's also a profession that is very flexible. I could do a lot with it... criminal psychology, education, clinical psychology... and the best part is, I wouldn't have to work for some corporation.

I'd have to work hard to get to where I want to be. But hey, it's about time I prove to people how smart I really am.

Anyways, thanks for the kind words guys... it does mean a lot to me.
