Thanks Cort Haus for being the voice of reason here. After 4 pages of posts, I finally got a strait answer.
(Ok, I'll admit that the was a little out of context with what I wrote, but I did promise to use it. Plus, it is always good to mix it up a bit, no? Keeps people on their toes. )
Cort is known far and wide for such straight answers.
A blossoming hero to me.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

You misunderstand. You remind of country singer George Strait.

If I was the kind of person that put quotes like that in my sig, I would, but I'm not, so I won't. Thanks anyway.
Well, it was never my intention. I was only speaking from the heart but if you ever change your mind, you can use my flattering quote.

Now can we ask you for a straight answer - how did you find yourself on this forum? Do you play Civ?
Ok, a straight answer. And yes, I saw my mistake when I "hit submit" but I was in too big of a hurry to run back and fix it. I can't sneak anything past you blokes, can I.
So, it is simple really. I was looking for forums to post about my research project and typed something along the lines of "international forum" or "Spanish forum" and somehow the Apolyton site caught my eye. I posted here in off topic back in March and also in the Spanish Civ forum (in Spanish) and was pleased by the various responses. And now I am just back to say hello. I guess I just couldn't stay away.

I remember now Cort Haus...your the musician. I really liked your post about music in the U.S. but could not find a way to make it fit in with my mailbag page. But guess what? Now I have an essays page that I could add it to if you would permit me of course.
Good stuff DaShi. Will you be my speech writer? Because if I ever have to make a confession, I would want it to be as clear and concise as that.
Does this mean I'm on your buddy list?
