In answer to your original question, elle, Buddy Lists are useful in team games (called Democracy Games), especially for sending important diplomatic messages to multiple players on other teams, when it is not clear which players are active at that moment.
(Ok, I'll admit that the was a little out of context with what I wrote, but I did promise to use it. Plus, it is always good to mix it up a bit, no? Keeps people on their toes.

So, it is simple really. I was looking for forums to post about my research project and typed something along the lines of "international forum" or "Spanish forum" and somehow the Apolyton site caught my eye. I posted here in off topic back in March and also in the Spanish Civ forum (in Spanish) and was pleased by the various responses. And now I am just back to say hello. I guess I just couldn't stay away.
