In Boulders, you are still up in the mountains. If you can, take a side trip to, say, Colorado Springs.
Colorado is an amazing area. The western portion is high mountains; the eastern portion is flat plains. And the dividing line is abrupt, like a curtain stretching for hundreds of miles. If as if God had said, "Darn, I'm tired of making mountains. From here on out, it's gonna be plains."Comment

beautiful, I have always loved mountainous lakes, pine tree's and blue skies. I would love to live out there, seriously, in a cabin or something.

There haven't been any pictures of Boulder in this thread. Boulder isn't even in the mountains; it's next to them. And there are plenty of high plains towns next to the Rockies that aren't full of arrogant hippies...KH FOR OWNER!
