Okay, so about 3 weeks ago, my touchpad stopped working on my dell 700m. i was traveling, so when I got back, I ordered another one off of ebay. Today I replaced the touch pad and the exact same thing is going on. Nothing. I reinstalled the driver, and it isn't even showing up in the device manager...Any ideas?

I have no experience with fixing laptops so - grain of salt- .
The first thing that comes to mind is a bad connection to the motherboard but I would have thought that was unlikely

Would a touchpad come up on the BIOS? If it does, is it still there?We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
