It depends on your luck... there shouldn't be problems but you never know the brainiac you get in the customs to check you up, so if their alarm bells ring after seeing you and the stamps, I guess they'll ask you some questions. After that though, you should be OK the latest. Then again if you get a real Jimbo, you might be in a tough spot for some time.
Generally, I wouldn't worry. However, if it was me, the chronical worrier, I would bump that vacation with a year..
I've been dealing with them A LOT in the last few years, both from international and domestic flights. Usually, it's not a problem. You have to realize the amount of people going in and out for example in NY and JFK airport. Little stamps like that shouldn't be a problem.
Then again, I've been totally screened because the way I ordered tickets raised flags (from another city, via phone, for the next day, multiple tickets, to a third city).... I guess that would raise flags though, from the airliner side. Anyway, even when they get tough on you and screen you well, there shouldn't be problems. Well OF COURSE unless you are trying to do something illegal, then it will be a problem for you
I've been dealing with customs after being awake for appx 50 hours straight, totally out of it, eyes red, brains not working, nothing functioning, not remembering correctly the first time where I came from (where the plane came from that I landed with just 10 minutes earlier). It wasn't a problem. They went through my bags, but I always put my underwear in the middle so they go through it. Why? Just to **** with them. Because usually after that, they'll stop, because I'll laugh 'ohh that's my undies!'. I'm not kidding. I know it's their job, they're usually polite, patient and professional, it's their job. But I got to do what I got to do, it's what I do.
