  • I liked the x men/spider man movies, but a movie about emma frost is just too much!!!

Emma Frost is a 2007 spin-off film based on the character Emma Frost from the X-Men comics. It is unknown who will play the role of Emma Frost.

Three Kings director David O. Russell is working with 20th Century Fox on the film featuring the character of Emma Frost, a sexy mutant telepath who can transform her skin into diamonds.

Isnt she a rather a secondary character?

Dont you think most people will go, Emma who?!??!

I think this whole movies about comic books thing has gone too far.

She was/is a major power in the Hellfire Club and is one of the leaders of the Generation X and the X-Men. Hardly a minor character.

When did she become part of the X-Men?

It happened sometime after the death of the Hellions at the hands of Trevor Fitzroy.

This is what I get for not reading them for 20 years. Course, in my defense, they got stupid.

Would you need any other reason other than this for a film to be made???

Genosha(The Mutant nation Magneto ran) got pretty much wiped out in a Sentinel attack. The attack triggered her "secondary" mutation, which was diamond skin. Since the Majority of the world's mutant population was now dead(something like 25 million out of a global total of 26mil) and she had no where else to go she ended up teaching at Xavier's.

She and Cyclops carried on an affair, Mimic(A mutant that, uh, mimics other mutants) went Magneto-crazy on NYC and killed Jean Grey. Xavier left the school, and she and Scott run it now.

All but 200 or so lost their powers. Scarlet Witch apperently decided that most of the X-men should keep theirs.

                      Wasn't Mimic.

So most mutants were killed when sentinels attacked genosha, later scarlet witch goes bat**** crazy and creates a reality in which most of the remaining mutants lost their powers, so there are only like 200 mutants?

Fine , now I understand whats going on more or less
