  • America is finished and doesn't even know it yet #2

Quite a long time ago I started a thread with the above title, but cos this 2nd rate site's useless search engine doesn't work I can't find it...

Anyway, apparently Noam Chomsky agrees with me - he must've read my posts if nobody else did...

Noam Chomsky: Why it's over for America
An inability to protect its citizens. The belief that it is above the law. A lack of democracy. Three defining characteristics of the 'failed state'. And that, says Noam Chomsky, is exactly what the US is becoming. In an exclusive extract from his devastating new book, America's leading thinker explains how his country lost its way

I know, the very people this is aimed at on this site are barely capable of stringing together an intelligible sentence - how could I possibly expect them to read all this...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Mobius, all you do is whine about things not of your concern. Why would anyone bother to read a link of yours?

You offer no suggestion on anything. Only complaints. I fire people like that many times.

Sloww makes some good points MOBIUS.

Everyone knows the problem. What's the solution? Bush is just one man... just one administration. The US needs real change. IF YOU AREN'T PART OF THE SOLUTION, YOU ARE PART OF THE ****ING PROBLEM!

If America ignores its problems, there is no chance to remedy them.

MOBIUS is too useless to be part of the problem. He's just a mildly irritating troll.

Yeah, well you ****heads (the American People) had the chance to VOTE HIM OUT in the last election - so don't give me this bull**** about Bush being one man...

Maybe too many useless, mildly irritating trolls IS part of the problem?!?

I'm okay then... because I'm more than mildly irritating.

Exactly! Only about 25% of the population actually voted Bush in the second time around...

So that means 25% of the population are ****wits (people like Sloww), and at least 50% of the pop are lazy ****ers who couldn't be arsed voting him out - worse than ****wits in my book!

There's plenty of evidence that we did. Whether that evidence would stand up in a fair and impartial court is another story.

Besides that is just a sad indictment on the state of politics in your country...

Or a frank admission that again the rot endemic in your country is not restricted to one man. So basically you're shooting down your own initial argument!

Perhaps you didn't understand my initial argument, MOBIUS.

It was that Bush is one man, the problem is more than just him. He goes, another takes his place. Business as usual.

Yes, and sadly, I expect we are going to see how much worse it can get.
