Yes, it's about the band. Taught by a tenured prof who acknowledges it's a joke course and tells politically incorrect jokes.

looks like a joke course to me.
Actually, yeah, it does.

You can't get more politically correct than U2, Asher. Is that your idea of rebellion - "When love comes to town"?
It's my idea of an easy non-science credit required for graduation...
It's either that or Pop Music of the 80s this term.
Not sure where you get this idea of me caring about being politically correct (I don't, which is why I get banned a lot), nor do I care about being rebellious.
You're going to have to try harder if you're trying to dig at me. I can't figure out what you're trying to do, anyway. It's not funny, it's not insulting, it's not trolling, so what is it?

None of the above. I just thought it was ironic to connect a 'course' on U2 with a prof who was 'politically incorrect', given that U2 is one of the most politically correct bands on the planet. And given that you are an iconoclastic pain in the butt, I can't fathom you taking a course on such a band. That's all.

The prof teaches it because he likes U2 and people always take the course. He's politically incorrect also -- I guess you're saying that all people that like U2 must also be politically incorrect.
On concert DVDs/videos he shows, he always fast forwards through Bono's tirades with a "blah blah blah, what a megalomaniac" comment.
And I need to take 6 non-science options to graduate, so I'm taking the easiest ones I could find. Psychology, Philosophy, Music, etc.

That's what I meant, but either way it's a stupid thing to think.

obviously the guy is just politically incorrect because he is, not because of what he listens to.
A lot of people like U2. I like some of their songs as well. But then they get all preachy and insist on giving me this message.
just play some ****ing music dammit!
That's what he says too.
