Actually my view on those is that they didn't justify the war. I remember posting a thread to that effect and being attacked by Ted for it. I think it was while posting pics of Spears in between shouting USA!

I certainly remember Ted being pro-war. I remember because, I was gone from Poly for a couple years, and I remember being like... wait, is that George Galloway?

In a way though, it restored a tiny bit of my faith in humanity knowing that posters could, when faced with reality, change their minds about things, unlike the guy we currently have in the White House.

I was against starting the war. It was Agathon of all people that convinced me. I think it was the last time he's been right about anything. Now that we are there, I would like for us to be able to salvage something from the situation and minimize the gains Iran stands to make from the ill-concieved policy.

That exposing dishonesty is important even after the fact. Even if none of the actors are still in positions of importance, it lets society as a whole gain a healthy skepticism as well as providing a baseline to attempt to differentiate the honest from the dishonest.
