The new equation editor in Word 2007 rules. I especially like how you can add equations and easily use them later by inserting them.

If equations actually get put in properly it would be much better.

            Regarding PDF...

MS has now confirmed it will be a free downloadable plugin now, not included by default due Adobe's protest and threat of anti-trust action.

Further, MS' XML-based document format to compete with PDF, called XPS, is also removed from the installs and will be available as a free downloadable plugin. MS didn't want to give XPS and unfair advantage over PDF in case of anti-trust complaints.

Either way, it's a pain in the ass to consumers. MS antitrust stuff has always been that way.

So I can modify graphs in cool ways..

But I can't figure out how to make a new Graph look like an old one. (using Excel 07)

Additionally, while I can have a log-log plot where one of the axises only goes from 1 to 3, I can't get any other numbers to show up along the axis but 1.

Did previous versions of Office have robust "sources" management/citation stuff?

I've always hated formatting bibliographies and doing citations, now it's pretty simple.

I don't think so. That's why Procite exists, after all. That looks like a useful feature.

I have been using Excel 2007 quite a bit the last two days. Comments:

The default graph doesn't look as good.
Some very common things are harder to do.
                            Slower (noticeably!).
                            Nice additional Power.
Some very common things which were hard to do are now easier.
Some very annoying bugs (I assume they are bugs, like sometimes it seems stuck in a mode where it will change both axises to whatever you change one to.. and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix this but to delete the current graph and make a new one).
