Usually better compression is achieved with the tradeof of being more computationally intensive. It's one that we should all be happy to make since processing power is still getting cheaper.Comment

Computation speed is an issue, but they only have to optimize it for a 8085/Z80 cpu, that is, work reasonable on it - then they don't have a problem
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
