  • What person in history would you most want to be alive today??

The title says it all. What person in history would you like to be alive today? People like Newton, Einstein, and Da Vinci all come to mind for me. Especially Da Vinci I think. It would be amazing to see what he could come up with with the technology available right now. He forsaw 500 years worth of inventions in his day, it would be amazing to see what he would do today.

The people in history I'd most like to be alive today are the ones I'd most like to get some answers from. They are, in order:

                        Jesus
                        Shakespeare
                        Lee Harvey Oswald

I also wouldn't mind having Hamilton, Madison, and Jefferson around, just to clear up the whole "intent of the Founders" thing once and for all.

And, for continuity's sake, I'd like to see everybody who had a hand in the Sykes-Picot agreement, which pretty much created the modern Middle East -- just so I could kick them all in the nuts.

I wouldn't want to inflict our time and its disappointments on any great historical figure. If you brought Caesar to the present, what could he do? Sell insurance?

He'd lead an army to Iran, conquer it, and return to Washington a new Sulla, overthrowing the entire US political system.
