Their explanation is that they're not completely hydrolysing water to hydrogen and oxygen, but instead hydrolysing it enough to produce a structure change to " H-H-O". They claim that takes less energy. Frankly I don't know.

from what little i learned in my chemistry classes, hydrogen only forms one bond. how is H-H-O possible? The formal charges are completly wrong...When the stars threw down their spears,
