if you must know, I chickened out. .

I like her alot. But I've been unsuccessful with women uglier than her. And this one might be too cute for me. She has a few extra pounds, but she is cute. Not beautiful or anything, but I still think she might be out of my league.

I'm just going to give up on women. I can get to friend status, and no further.

Which isn't bad. My best friend is a woman. It's nice to be loved. So I have pretty much all the perks of a relationship- except the sex. But I'm used to going without that.

What a bunch of crap. Beauty has nothing to do with a person being "out of your league" or not. It's all about feelings and personality.

Go the Ted Striker route. Don't take things too seriously, don't have expectations wrt finding a girlfriend. But when you have an opportunity, then try to seize it. By keeping it light-hearted.

I have taken this approach a bare three monthes ago (after convincincing myself that I can't get beyond friend status), and even though I'm still without a girlfriend, I feel much better now. And I trust it'll happen eventually.

Remember, no guts, no glory. Though this time you have accidentally done the right thing. I think.

You can't tell unless you have tried. I have seen beautiful women end up with fugly men.

As Spiffor said don't take it too seriously, at least for now.

It appears Dis got bored when Poly went down and grew a pair!!!!

                        Congrats.

My advice on dating? Be yourself but don't forget to be polite. You don't want to be with someone who thinks you are someone other than yourself. However, you also need to be polite. Get her talking about herself, they like that. Open the door for her, let her order first, etc... She may be a women, but she also has feelings

Don't show up empty handed. Take her something, even something a simple as a rose. Just don't give some cheesy line with it.

Dress like you care about how you look.

Compliment her appearance when you first see her.

And finally, get her to pay...
                        Monkey!!!

I'm the living proof; I had very beautiful girlfriend; beautiful and mature and I'm not pretty.

Oh yeah Dis, I'm sure you already know that but they're no key to bring a women into your bed, or develloping a love/passion relashionship with them.

If you'r pretty or you look like a muscle man, you just have to go in a bar and choose your women; women in bar are oftenly stupid.(like guy).

But if you look like the average guy or even less. You have to concentrate to your strong points. Me, I know how to talk to a girl, I know how to look at them, how to smile at them, it's natural, I know how to make them smile, what kind of thing to say, to make them smile and laught... without being stupid and vulgar. Oh yeah, making a girl smile is the 3/4 of the work...

I'm sure you're a guy of passion. Please, assume this passion, make the women know you're a living fire. Please when you hesitate with them, they feel that. And this is the worst things to do... Hesitation make women go away, or they just want to be your... friend.

Just concentrate on your strongs points.

                            Good Luck!

All it really shows is not to date bipolar chicks. Thankfully this girl is not bipolar. .
