Actually I'm much safer vs a tsunami on Bohol where the island is surrounded by other islands than here on the Oregon coast where there's nothing out there bu a rather nasty fault.

National Geographic Channel just had an episode of Mega Disasters about the Cascadia Fault, just off the coast of Oregon. It bears a startling resemblance to the Indonesian fault that gave rise to the Christmas tsunami. According to NGEO, when that puppy slips, everything from southern Canada to northern California is gonna get hit with a mega-tsunami.

Of course, it could well be a couple of hundred years before than happens. On the other hand....hey....what's that low rumbling??
