This weekend is Mothers Day. Many will celebrate the joys of the years of servitude offered at no cost by a mothers true love. Many will take mom's out to a treat at a special restaurant, perhaps a home cooked meal, perhaps a special trip to see an event or happening that she would truly cherish.
Me, I join thousand of folks whom can cherish the memories and tell each day our mom in our heart that we love them but my mom is in Heaven. She passed away on Oct 21 2000. I got to talk to her the night before she passed. It is often hard to come to grips with being gone but time helps heal the wounds knowing she suffers no more.
I was sitting here in physical pain from my recent spinal operation and my sweetheart sent me http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/mo...y-picture.html which was so funny and was well, like our family more than say a Norman Rockwell painting of a Mothers day.
Just wanted to share folks, if you still have a Mom, be sure to tell her that you love her because when you bury your mom, which I felt led to in Maine, its all over for a 2 way conversation. My Mom still hugs my heart and I still feel her tell me she loves me, yes men the world over will feel the pang of missing their mom and we will allways be their little boys and yes it feels nice to hear your mom tell you I love you son.
I though a little laughter was needed because I feel a little lonely this year missing my mom. Im 46 and can say without reservation I am a man and its ok for a man to be emotional because only a heart can be touched in a certain way by a mom.
Mom, I know your in Heaven and sufffer no more. I just wanted to say I love you and truly miss you. I cant apologize enough for the things I did wrong and yes you forgave me for.
I just wanted to share that old Grandpa Troll has a soft side and Mothers day just brings it pouring through.
So take a moment and tell the woman who brought you into this world how much you love her. When she gets called home, its a hard time to bear the years of not having her near.
