  • Stopping MS Word from auto renaming my words

I'm writing an essay at the moment on John Ballance... but MS Word has a horrible habit of renaming the poor bloke John Balance.

Is there a way to stop this from occuring?

First guess - turn off AutoCorrect

Or just remove "balance" from the list of auto-corrected words

I found AutoCorrect more annoying than useful. I ended up turning off most of the options.
