    Shockingly Kennedy involved in Car Accident - Coverup?

    Officers Claim Brass Interfered in Investigation of Rep. Kennedy Incident... Police labor union officials asked acting Chief Christopher McGaffin this afternoon to allow a Capitol Police officer to complete his investigation into an early-morning car crash involving Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), son of Sen. Ted Kennedy.

    According to a letter sent by Officer Greg Baird, acting chairman of the USCP FOP, the wreck took place at approximately 2:45 a.m. Thursday when Kennedy's car, operating with its running lights turned off, narrowly missed colliding with a Capitol Police cruiser and smashed into a security barricade at First and C streets Southeast.

                I know someone who dated him a few years back. Back then he never drank and kept it under control. He barely ate anything besides cereal and PB&Js. When I sent her the news on Drudge, she said something along the lines of "ha ha ha I knew he was an alchy". It seems the Kennedy Curse strikes again!

                        He said he was driving to the capital at 2:45 am under the impression that he had to go vote, but not under the influence of alcohol.

                            There should be a way to induce some randomnes to elections... US system seems more and more like a feudal class society...

                            I know, have both parties set aside a modest amount of funds, then randomly pick equal amounts of everyday joes/janes from the street to replace 50 or so senators.

                              It is rather ironic that since illegal hooch alllowed the Kennedy's to have the resources to climb to power that abuses of alcohol have now twice killed their political aspirations.
