They violate their agreements with MNE's all the time without consequence. Read "Not Exactly Counterfeit" in the most recent Fortune magazine to see what kind of fun New Balance has had outsourcing to China. The thing is they can't do anything about it, and they still subcontract out to China. Since the US pretty much has to subcontract to China the Chinese can steel from them, and no one really cares except the property rights nuts in the West. Contracts have to be enforced. If they aren't you have to take what you get.
