The protestors against the labour laws didn't burn cars IIRC.

Many cars had been burnt during the riots of November, but the political message during the riots was really confused.

when you read about "bombs" in Greece, you should realize that 99,9% of the time we are talking about small home-use gaz containers that are used usually to start a fire

as you can see from this image of a similar attack in the past, when they succeed, these "bombs" can barely destroy half of a car

But this leads back to my question, not just about Greece, what's the point of a violent peace protest?
