I lived there a bit with my mom, but I've moved to Provence since

I live here in Indy too, on the north side.

Nobody in my family uses miles. Time is the true measure of distance.

Bands don't generally come to Indy, but Verizon Wireless is usually a tour stop for major bands and travelling shows. The best places to see live music are probably The Slippery Noodle and The Melody Inn (Saturday is Punk Rock Night) downtown, The Vogue in Broad Ripple (the college type drinking strip) and The Music Mill and Birdy's on the north side. Some decent groups have come through like MC Chris, Grandaddy, Metric and the Starlight Mints.

Broad Ripple's okay. It's better than Five Popints in Jacksonville, but it's got nothing on real alternative places in real cities.

How ya doin?! Long time no see. Yeah, eating "raw fish" and seaweed does sound disgusting to people here in Indy.

I don't like all the breaded foods and deep fried stuff over here. Veggies, fruits and fish (and chicken) are what I normally eat. Over here its mostly red meat and fried starches.

Obviously this change is going to be difficult...
