              I used to live in Texas, its too hot... I don't like Texas, everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas, but then I go to Alaska and it is like 10 time bigger then Texas lol.

                Alaska? 90% of the population is in Anchorage. What does that tell you? Suggests to me it's a good vacation spot.

                        Your link is missing a few details. Sam Houston did not go quietly from office, though he acquiesced to secession he refused to swear an oath to the Confederacy. He resisted, was arrested and briefly imprisoned. Once the Lieutenant Governor had safely moved into the Governor's residence Houston was released. He eventually gave his verbal support to the war, despite the fact that he opposed his son's joining the Confederate Army. He died about a year later. You guys sure know how to treat your saints.
