report me all you want, that doesnt change the fact that youre an attention whore who hides behind a milquetoast cause like gay rights.

how about instead of trying to convince people on poly which is a fruitless effort, you blend in and change peoples perceptions by not be a narcissistic half wit.

omg a gay man that doesnt think the world revolves around him and has attitude

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

holidays evolve all the time, and people come up with stories to justify them.

spring harvest festival, where you eat unleavened bread cause there no wild yeast gathered yet - becomes celebration of escape from Egypt (and thus a tie in with unleavened bread is needed) - become days for god who is resurrected (with probably nod to pagan resurrection cults) etc.

So folk holiday about springtime, with maypoles and all that, becomes labour day, with some event as the justification. Day is celebrated by all Euro labour, from commie to social (to catholic worker?) Today, IIUC, you can be a pro free market New Labour Blairite and celebrate Mayday. No reason it has to have Marxist connotations.

Here we probably dropped the maypole stuff, out of fear (in the late 19th c) of a socialist celeb. So? If some folks revive it, we can dilute it with maypoles again. Or make it a harmless festival of business unionism, like labor day is.
