I don't think many people know of secterian violence in Pakistan. It's not exactly national primetime news, is it?

There are pretty deadly attacks every few months- usually bombings. They have been going on for years now.

I guess one has to actually pay attention to international news to remember these things.

I suppose. How much coverage is there in the US about these things? I know over here they're barely heard of.

I guess there might be a popular sentiment now that all bombings in Muslim nations are the work of AQ, insurgents, etc., such is ignorance about the Mid East at the moment.

Every once in a while I hear of attacks on Christians and westerners in Pakistan, but I wasn't aware of bad blood between the Sunnis and Shia in Pakistan.

I'll tell you what will happen . The independent half of the Pakistani press will blame it on the Jews . The other half , which is a government mouthpiece , will blame it on India . The public will believe both in equal proportions , and hatred will grow . Which is precisely what the terrorists want .
