It just feels too soon to me. 9/11 hurt like hell, though I don't know why. It really shouldn't affect me, as I don't know anyone in New York.

And we just don't know all the fact about what happened on flight 93. Although we have a pretty good idea. The terrorists intentionally drove the plane into the ground when they started losing control of the plane.

But what purpose does the movies serve? To inform us? Most people already know what the basic conclusions of flight 93 were. For a serious drama? Why would we need that, when we can remember the real life drama of the day. As a comedy?- I sure hope not. As an action movie? Again, I hope not. What's the purpose of this movie. Who wants to see this stuff?

And no, I didn't watch pearl harbour either. From what I heard of the movie, it was made to seem like the americans won that battle. I don't need to watch hokey film making like that.

If hollywood could create a classy movie about the envent, I might be tempted to watch it. But the theatrical movie will probably be no better than the made for tv movies. melodrama. And like I said, I don't need that. I still remember what I felt that day. I don't need to be reminded.

They get bunched up in the aisle, maced, and nobody really knows jack about what the **** else may have happened, since the cockpit voice recorder just indicates a lot of yelling, banging and noise, and it's not like there are any witnesses.

Some passengers did make phonecalls home and whatnot.

Wasn't this on CNN (Larry King) some time ago?

Other that that, you completely described the movie I (partly) saw, though I was a little more concise.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

1943 was certainly too early for this movie

what purpose did making it serve?

and the folks who made this movie in 1943 must have been rabble rousing USA nationalists

Oh, wait, Lillian Hellman was a communist? you dont say.

and how could Frank Capra have released this - didnt he know we needed more perspective on the events?

And did we really need merchant marine heros?

            Howard Hawks, how could you?

The movie seems relatively OK- the trailer is actually good, for a trailer.

Is it to early for this movie? No. Its been five years. For the families, it will always be to early..but then, they can always avoid the film, no one makes them go see it.
