200 years is a long time, not even a guess is possible.
But,is it implemented defensive devices that matches,at least, ofensive weapons? Are there some bases, with enough people, outside Earth?Does a powerful nation become quickly very poor?If yes, then little to lose, chance to win, there will be war.
    Best regards,

Things change, but they've been changing for the better. Most countries are more civilized than they were in the past. With the exception of some countries in africa and the middle east. Europe hasn't seen a war over religion since the 30 years war. Most countries have moved past pesky disputes such as religion. And no the war on terror is not a war on religion. It's more of a war on arabs.

Countries no longer rape and pillage as they did in the past. Though it wasn't long ago they did do this. WW2 was not that long ago.

I do believe people are more pacifist (at least in North America and Europe) than they were even 50 years ago. I have a few theories why this is, but I won't say them here. You guys would probably laugh at them.

No two countries with McDonald's in them have ever gone to war, with the single exception of Serbia and its various enemies in the 1990s.

I think the world will mostly stay that way.

The Yugoslavia war had plenty to do with religion.

I'm pretty sure Germany will start to miss the old days eventually and just do the world war thing for the sake of nostalgia. They used to be so bloodthirsty, those Germans...

The West against Islam will be very interesting. I wonder on which side Europe will be, at the time, considering its dropping birthrate %
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Yes, I see it happening. The whole world vs the US. The only downside is that we are just up north...

The only realistic case of a world war I see is if the USA collapses in it's interior, the state collapses and civil war breaks out because of struggles for power. Most likely as a war between the bottom ranks of society against a system that sees them living in poor conditions. But that would require a great fall in the economy.

If the USA collapses there would be no real powerhouse left willing to play "world conscience" around the world anymore, unless the EU or UN was reformed. So a massive decline in the world economy caused by some natural disaster or otherwise, would lead to dormant conflicts bursting out in the open across the world. Essentially a world war but not between states.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars
