I agree. I friggin hate eastern time. What makes more sense, align with New York, what, 4 states over, or Chicago?

But apparently daniels is going to let the bars spring forward one hour later so that "we" won't loose revenue for that hour due to closing times. wonder if he would have done that if we didn't have the final four?

Michigan and Indiana should both be in CST. CST/CDT is the Midwest (in the north part anyway) and they're both Midwestern states

yeah, it was really rough here last night. My cats were in hiding all night. Luckily my wife and I wer both ill, so did not have plans to venture out..

It's about time Indiana moved into the modern era and implemented DST.

That said, though, most of the state should definitely be on central time, except for those counties part of the Louisville and Cincy metropolitan areas (of course, the argument could and possibly should be made that central KY should be central, too).

I'm also in Indy, up on the north side.

They still have streets blocked off downtown because one of the tall buildings had some windows break.

DST sucks. God even hates it, that's why he sent the storm.

Doesn't Daniels worry about getting re-elected? He implements DST which nobody wanted except for large corporations (and I know most of them like Lilly were scrambling to get ready for this) and he sells a Toll Road. He's just another short sighted politician. At least Governor is one political position that Indiana thinks about instead of blindly voting GOP.

Michigan using eastern time is really messed up. I go the a place in the southwest corner of Michigan every summer, and it stays light incredibly late at night...when we have campfires we don't even really get started until 9:30 or 10 since it's not dark enough yet.
