Land value: $9,122,200
Estimated property taxes for 1998: $620,183
These property taxes are totally unfair. Someone works his ass off and builds a nice place, and then the society rips him off for having a nicer place than everybody else
BTW. the only bad thing about Bill Gates's house is - it probably needs lots of staff to maintain. I want a home in which I have my peace and privacy, not a home that needs an army of people to function.Comment

Yep... security guards, cooks, someone to mow the lawn. Even a normal sized house constantly needs repairs. BG probably spends more on maintenance than on property taxes.Comment
