yes but it's not that kind of a thing. It's for his portfolio, a short artsy type of thing. What he explained to me was that he wants to follow me around, record me and then MOSTLY use my voice as a voice over to some artsy type of scenery and what ever he wants to put on screen. He wants freely flowing brainstorming, weird stuff, to be said. So he said he wants to follow and record enough to get stuff he needs. It's like totally non-related stuff. Him (and I) are interested in themes that are not in relation to each other adn can not be connected, and then force the connection. That creates weird vibes, kind of creation of new themes.

Like I thought about doing this flick, 5 minute black and white thing where I go to downtown Helsinki, strip naked and play trumpet. You know, just marching nude playing trumpet, black and white, and it would be shot from upwards, little tilted view. But you couldn't hear what I play (I can't play), or what happens, you would just hear some weird acid jazz type of thing.

And that's it.

I had another idea about battling street musicians. I'd find a bum looking dude playing the accordion, and I'd get an accordion too and come just a bit too close playing, meaning we'd be playing over each other. He wouldn't know we'd be filming. Then, I'd try to start a battle. You know like a dance off, or what ever, we'd play in turns, upping the ante. Then, when it gets serious, I'd strip naked and put on my most furious accordion solo, like a performance from Gods and stuff.

I guess you can see a pattern here.

Another thing that i nterests me is jazz music and suicide. Happy jazz and suicide. That would make an interesting theme. Razor blades, artsy type of super cool looking stuff. Black and white of course. Nude.
