  • Have you ever been in La-La Land?

I noticed this in another forum that during a discussion, one guy said to another one "If you believe this (whatever guy A disagrees with) you really live in la-la land!"

I wonder if Cuba is la la land, since I remember the phrase "if you don't like it pack your bags and move to Cuba" which seems to be a similar reasoning to me.

So where in hell is la-la land?

Mayor Ken Livingstone, of London (that great city) suggested this week that certain real estate developers move back to Iran. As it happens both are Jews from India, from a community that moved to India from Iraq.

      Carry on.

I don't know where it is or who came up with this, but I used this in an E-Mail yesterday after I futzed up the system I was testing. Essentially I said that I sent the system to La-La Land. After t-shooting today we realized that the wiring techs had hooked up the wrong router port. However the system should've acknowledged the issue but didn't, so now I get to write a Problem Report on the new "Feature". G-r-e-a-t.....

Darsnan, you know how it goes.. if the product has a failure of some kind, but it hasn't been noticed before it was put up for the markets... it's not a failure, it's a feature .

I think back then when Germany was split into east/west, in both parts people were told to move into the other part "if they don't like it".......

la la land is the land of your own mind even if it is way outside the scopes of normal reality.
When you find yourself arguing with an idiot, you might want to rethink who the idiot really is.
