He's only 7, and he started playing it now. He seems pretty good too (well for 7 anyway). He still can't read too well, but he's slowly getting the hang of it. Maybe one day he'll be better than me.... Na. No one will ever be better than me.

My stepson is 7 and he expresses interest in my games but I didn't really think he would like alpha centauri. He plays AoE 2 and warcraft and Rise of Nations. Maybe I should let him try it and see how it goes.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh
Hey, maybe he'll grow up to be a scientist, reading all these futuristic technologies?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

My son started playing around that time as well, but got bored with it - not enough action. He's currently playing Star Wars Battlegrounds and the Red Alert series.
If your looking for a new game for your son to play I highly recommend Lego Star Wars: the visuals in the space battles are highly intense, and my son really finds it fun cutting off Count Dookie's Lego head and watching the little lego piece head bounce around on the ground.... Plus its a two player game, so its a nice Father/ Son thing to do together.
Thanx Darsnan. My son plays a lot of different games. He still plays some of his toddler games too. I mostly play Madden Football. He plays that too, so he's learning about football even though he never sits through watching a game.
