Well that's interesting because, as I understand it, you have a roof over your head, food on your plate. You're at one of the best unis in the country doing a great degree, and if you stick at it you have a chance at making a success of yourself.

So I'm kinda struggling at the moment to work out why your life is tragic, when I and many others would give their back teeth to be where you are, and millions more in the world could only ever dream of having what you have.

The tragedy of Verres is that she wanted to go out with me, but I turned her down even before she had the chance to ask. This is tragic for her, for every time I post here, which is a lot, is like a bullet shot through her thigh, or like knife in her kidney. I can have that kind of an impact on people, because the caliber is what it is with me... big.

The only forums I'd participated in before anywhere were civ foums. A month before the invasion of Iraq and 2 days after Colin Powell spoke to the Security Council, I turned on TV, and heard that "Al Queda was going to gas the East Coast and North Korea was going to nuke the West Coast". I thoughtthat the number of things supposedly happening at once was suspicious, at the very least, I smelled a rat, and started looking though the web to see what was really going on.

Tragedy is a dimension of certain lives which is not necessarily connected to health, wealth, and love; the closer you are from success the closer you can be from tragedy. But in an OT post, reference to tragedy is a game presently won by Verres.

There's always hope for people as long as theyre alive and they actually believe in themselves.

Of course if you think your life is tragic, then that will probably come true for you because people dont improve unless they actually believe that they're better than whatever situation theyre in at the time.
