  • No, you dare not

It is the Queens Head, Chislehurst...here is a map to guide you!

And it's a relatively short walk from my house, so it is quite convenient for me

            • I was going to say it takes 20 minutes to be served because the barmaids are too busy talking to me. But no-one would believe that.

              • Do they have to repeatedly ask you to leave?

                • Yep, they're always begging me to leave with them.

Would've been more believable if you'd said it was because they were being talked at by Rich. Mind you, I can't talk, it's not like any of us have any anecdotes as interesting as he does... who can top, "I broke my bath by standing in it?"

                        P.S. Much love

                          • so are we realistically going to get a civ game going? I dont especially feel like hauling my arse to kent for just a few beers this weekend , but if we can get a game going I will. maybe you can let me know if you manage to get it sorted and I can come over

(and none of this hot seat nonsense)

                            • Yes, big no to hotseat (Although PH vs Drogue one on one, that'd be the greatest thing ever)!

I've also been invited to Heaven this Saturday night, so I'll probably just come see you lovely chaps for beers before ehading off into the vipers' den...

                              • I'm definitely up for civving. And Gibsie, that's a lame excuse - civ works before *and* after clubbing. How else do you deal with the post-club drunkenness?

Speaking of polymeet drinks, I was in the Shakespeare's Head on Kingsway the other day, ie. the place we almost set fire to. Anyone think a more central meeting might be better, before hotfooting it back to Kent for CivIV?
