Probably my fault, I've not had time for anything but work the last week. 7am starts until nearly 8pm finishes have left me darned tired. And I have exams starting on Monday.
I managed to get time off to watch the football from 5pm tomorrow.
Anyone interest in coming to the Penderals Oak on Holborn from 5pm to watch either or both WC games and have a few beers? Invitation open to all. I know PH is coming but don't let that stop you.One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.Comment

Works for me. Presumably you are going to need to get to Holborn tube, as thats the area we normally meet.
I suspect the problem is we dont know which pubs have the football on? The normal meet pub is the shakespeares head on the kingsway, which is the street adjacent to holborn tube, but I dont remember seeing tvs in there before, but then again wetherspoons have recently changed their policy with regards to footballSafer worlds through superior firepowerComment

No no no, Camden! Because it's easier for me
There's many options in Camden, such as Belushi's on the High Street, Underworld (never been there but it looks fun/ scary) or simply the Wetherspoons by the river. But I'm okay with Holborn if that's what people want.Comment
