    Everyone was reporting that it would be really close, if DeLay would win at all. DeLay walks off with a good percentage even though many hardcore Republicans are voting in the Democrat's primary.

    Pat Baig, R 3.8%
    Tom Campbell, R 26.0%
    Tom DeLay, R (I) 64.3%
    Mike Fjetland, R 5.9%

      Shortly after his scandal broke, Dan Rostenkowski won the Democratic primary in his Chicago district quite handily. In the fall, that district sent its first GOP rep to congress in more than 50 years.
