Japan was screwed, but we don't know that they would have won if they weren't screwed. I think ARod's game winning RBI could have also scored another run if that run would have mattered.

Thank God that guy did get to score- if he didn't and the game was decided by one run, that would have put a huge black eye on the sport.

And the USA has eliminated in round two of the World Baseball Classic. Credit them with perhaps the most pathetic performance by an American team in international competition.

It doesn't matter what any of these players do the rest of their career. I will always look at them as failures.
