    University of Liverpool

    Dear Poly,

    I am interested in some of the online programmes that University of Liverpool offers.

    Does anybody know about the quality of the uni in general and its online programmes in particuar?

      I wouldn't exactly call online programs real either.

          It's a pretty respectable college. A friend of mine just got hired there.

          I wouldn't go to work in the UK myself, the pay is crap and you get loaded down with administrative duties, but she's English and likes it there.

            With Agathon, Uni of Liverpool is pretty decent actually, and working in academia does indeed suck

                Yeah, it makes sense. I left before I had to deal with the hassle, but leaving when I did has probably meant I am better off financially now...

                    It's not bad... it's a decent redbrick university and is one of the 19 Russell Group research-intensive universities in the UK. Don't know about online programmes though.

                      It's got a good, solid reputation. Not exactly top 10 material but I'm pretty sure it's in the top 30 UK universities.

                          Doing a degree at the uni of Liverpool online, good thinking. Less likely to get your stuff nicked that way...

                            I retract this comment. Urban Ranger undoubtedly went to an astounding University and obtained a legitimate degree.
