I was wondering if anyone had some good experiences with some?
Specifiically, I'm looking for something that if I stop taking for a month or so, won't end up having results lost.

Uhm... you should read more about what you want. You want some protein bars? YOu want creatin(spelling?)...
Basically it's just extra nutrition. Or helps you recover from training.
They won't give you results. They help you work out more and better. When you stop training, yes, you start losing the results. And if you just take the extra suppliments, you'll gain fat, not muscle.

I understand all that. But I know that typically when you take certain things, mainly ones that give you what your body already makes, your body doesn't make as much as it originally did. That's what I don't want.
It's hard to look these things up because of all the advertising involved. Nothing is very trustworthy.

Yes, don't read the ads. That gets you nowhere, I'd look for a big and popular bodybuilding/fitness website and their forums.

Work out 3 days a week and get loads of protein and I can guarantee you'll gain muscle weight quick enough. If you really orient toward building muscle you can easily put 7 or 8 pounds of muscle on in a month.
Go to the gym. If you want to help it along, use protein shakes.
Supplements are for big boys with big tits and small nuts.

I usually do at least 30 minutes of working out 6 days a week....and for over an hour at least three of those days.

Cut back a little bit on your lifting to 3 45 minute sessions per week. Rest at least one day between exercising the same muscle group. Eat a ridiculous amount of protein.

If you're talking lifting for 4 and a half hours a week that's probably too much.
Much of it is running. I usually do about 15 miles a week. It isn't lifting. Much is also push up and ab workouts.
It's not like I'm not getting results...it's just a bit on the slow side.
